Enrico Gallinucci graduated cum laude in Computer Science and Information Technology in March 2013 at the University of Bologna. His Master's Degree thesis was a major contribution in the development of the DyNamiTE project (Digital fightiNg Tax Evasion). He received his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in May 2017 with the thesis "Business Intelligence on non-conventional data" (i.e., extending traditional BI techniques to properly handle social data, linked data, and schemaless data). Currently, he is a post-doctoral research fellow of the B.I.G. research group, which he joined in January 2014. He is also adjunct professor at the University of Bologna, where he teaches the Big Data course of the Master's Degree. His research interests mainly focus in the areas of Business Intelligence 2.0 and Big Data.
